Hospital Pharmacy Manager

Requirements

  • Pharmacy Master’s Degree
  • Work experience of at least 5 years or 3 years in case of specialization, including at least 1 year in a managerial position
  • Familiarity with policies and procedures related to the functioning of a hospital pharmacy
  • Familiarity with software and IT systems used in the hospital pharmacy
  • Ability to manage a team of employees, excellent work organization, commitment to work
  • Familiarity with accreditation procedures
  • Good English
  • Readiness and openness to change

Responsibilities

  • Development/implementation/supervision/optimization of the pharmacy’s budget
  • Organization of the pharmacy’s work in accordance with the applicable pharmaceutical law and hospital policy
  • Supervision and management of the pharmacy warehouse (monitoring of expiry dates and rotation of preparations in the pharmacy warehouse, supervision over the proper acceptance of deliveries and conformity of orders, periodic control of the warehouse stock)
  • Supervision over the proper functioning of the pharmacy
  • Advice/support for medical personnel
  • Motivating/developing/setting the direction for the subordinate team
